So many older women experience hair loss. I have always had very thick, long, coarse hair. But, in 2022, I washed my hair, combed it, and great big chunks started coming away. It turned out that six months before, when I was suffering from Menières disease, which makes you dizzy, barely able to stand or walk, meaning I was unable to eat properly for weeks. Any major illness can mean you lose hair even months later.
